Meet time 0900, KSU 15 minutes after meeting 

Meet at 0800 for breakfast, Meeting starts at 0900, ride KSU 15 minutes after meeting complete. 

Route: Loop 375 to US 54 to Alamogordo, fuel and rest stop at Mavericks Travel Center, Hwy 70 to Las Cruces over White Sands, enter I-25, Exit Lohman to Farley’ for lunch. (last stop) south/I-10 east, exit Hwy 404, left on Hwy 404, end of ride. 

Proper Protective Equipment is “Highly Encouraged” (Helmet, Boots, Gloves, Long Pants, Long Sleeve Shirt. You ride at your own risk 

All non-HOG members and minors must sign a release. 

Highway 70 from Las Cruces to Alamogordo was completed in 1938 and runs across southern New Mexico, from Lordsburg east to Las Cruces along I-10, and northward to Alamogordo, Roswell and Clovis. We will be passing White Sands National Park which covers 275 square miles (about the area of Austin, Texas) with an ocean of white, gypsum dunes—the largest gypsum dune field in the world
