Route: I-10 east, right Loop 375 south, right US 54 north, exit MLK left on MLK, left on Hwy 404, right on 28, right on Hickory to destination 

Return: Hwy 478, left on Hwy 404, right on MLK, ride ends at MLK and US 54

Cracker Barrel was founded by Dan Evins in 1969 in Lebanon, Tennessee, with the concept of creating a roadside restaurant and gift shop to serve travelers on the new interstate highway system. The name comes from old country stores where people would gather around barrels of soda crackers to socialize. The first stores were built along Interstate 40 and included gas pumps, but the company later phased out the gas stations to focus on the restaurant and store concept.
