Day 1, Friday. October 2, 2026 

Meet at Circle K, at Rich Beem and Montana Ave, South side 

Meet at 0800, Safety Brief at 0815, KSU at 0830 

Route: Montana (62/180) east, Rest stop at Cornudas Cafe, right on Hwy 54, to Van Horn for gas and sack lunch stop. Continue Hwy 90 to Marfa, left on Hwy 17 to Fort Davis, right on Hwy 118 to Alpine Tx, Holiday Inn Express & Suites Alpine Southeast by IHG, 2004 US-90, Alpine, TX 79830. 250 Miles 

All non-HOG members and minors must sign a release. Ride at your own risk. 

Day 2, Saturday, October 3, 2026,  

Lead: Norman Sandidge 

Ride to Big Bend National Park, Ross Maxwell Scenic Drive, Lunch at the Chisos Mountain Lodge, and return to Alpine, steak dinner at Reata Restaurant in Alpine. 280-mile ride 

Route: Hwy 118 to Big Bend National Park West Entrance Study Butte, Scenic Drive to Santa Elina Outlook, Scenic Drive to Chisos Mountain Lodge for lunch, return to Alpine Holiday Inn.  

Day 3, Sunday, October 4, 2026, Ride back to El Paso 250-miles 

Lead:  Carlton Chavis      

Route: Hwy 90 to Van Horn (fuel), Hwy 54, left on Hwy 62/180, stop Cornudas Cafe for break, Last Stop, continue down 62/180. End of ride is passing The Yard
